“MetaRip has expertise in high-end servers and the requirements of that market,” says Get Digital Data co-founder Doug Strachota. After a yearlong joint initiative to improve Encode Center and expand GD3, Piech joins Get Digital Data, as VP – Technology, to guide product development. A proven market leader, Carter joins as VP - Sales & Marketing to expand and promote GD3 products and services. “In order for the media server market to flourish, there needs to be a quality set of tools and accurate metadata serving the market,” adds Carter.

After 15 years as a leading AV professional, Carter joined ReQuest in 2001 as VP of Sales to pursue the high-end market of systems integrators. Piech, a key engineer at ReQuest helped Carter build and support a network of over 600 dealers, establishing ReQuest as the market leader in music servers. “They’re a proven team who know this market better than anyone,” says Strachota. “With our technology and their talent, we’re poised to lead the market with industrial strength tools and server grade metadata.”
